WHILE IN DENMARK
A small country rich in history and culture, Denmark will provide a great entry for our students into the global society. On the excursions students will learn about what makes the Danes unique, and the days in school will help our students achieve full immersion.
COLLABORATION AT KRUSES
The Danish school system has students in cohorts which allows students to explore in depth the qualities and characteristics that unite and separate the United States and Denmark while they attend school.
COPENHAGEN
The capital of Denmark provides many opportunities for students to immerse themselves. From a visit to the Danish Parliament to meet with an MP, to the cultural elements such as its rich history, this city gives students a unique perspective on cultural diversity.
CHRISTIANIA
A former military base, Christiania is a source of pride among the Danes. Known as the Free City, this part of Copenhagen has developed its own micro economy, culture, and government. To the Danes, it represents a true democratic endeavor.
ROSKILDE
One of our excursions will travel to this city that is home to the National Cathedral which houses the tombs of Danish monarchs. Students will also visit a viking museum that houses unearthed viking longboats and even take part in a Viking meal.
